The name Spark Early Learning comes from two sources of inspiration.

 

If you recall the Marie Kondo approach to tidying up, her moto was to ask yourself if something "sparks joy." That phrase has stuck with me as a simple, yet meaningful, way to describe something that is special. For me one of my greatest sparks of joy is connecting with and caring for young children.

The second source is the meaning of the word spark as a synonym for the word  "ignite." My goal as an early childhood educator is to be a part of igniting the different capabilities in each child I care for.
